Greetings Fellow Fleas, My name is C.J. Thompson. I am still relatively new to the ukulele, but have been helped and encouraged enormously by the terrific community known as Houkulele , the Houston ukulele group. I have attended Houkulele meet-ups in various locations around Houston, but have been trying to find something closer to home. Java Lava Brew is a five-minute walk from my house, and when the owner expressed interest I figured I would try to start my own. I hope that, if you are reading this, you are at least marginally interested in joining us. If you are a pro on the uke and want to come show us how it's done, that's great. If you are just starting out, that's even better, as these meet-ups are really more about just learning more and having fun! Keep checking here for more information. cjt
